Hammer Reborn

Around this past spring I bought a hammer coral frag. It did well for awhile but during the summer I battled some temperature spikes as well as a couple damsels continuously knocking the frag over the two large heads retracted and were never seen again. Since then the frag has sat at the bottom of my tank. Today while looking at my tank I noticed several new heads sprouting from the sides. Nature never ceases to amaze me. I pointed out 3 of the new heads in the picture, there are others on the other side.

 

Personally I think this is one of the coolest things about keeping corals-what's seems dead begins to sprout new life Yahoo for you!!
