Hammerhead and Acan issue

My water levels are all maintained along with supps and there is no overfeeding or under filtration. But my hammerheads are not opening and the acans are not doing too good either. other than that my xenia bodies are very strong but their hands are not open like they were. im looking for some suggestions on this matter, maybe something i'm over looking.

 

What type of flow do you have them under?

 

flow, fish, lights, invertibrates, etc. are you running carbon? we need this info.
what are you exact params?

 

75g tank with a 20g sump, a 125 gallon Coralife super skimmer, pumping the water is a 15g/min pump which has a total of 7 heads spraying into the tank. also in the tank is a koralia 2 power head and another power head. there are 2 250w MH and two t12 vho lighting the system. Derasa clam, coral beauty angel fish, maroon clown, foxface rabbit fish, white spot puffer, yellow eye khol tang, king star blenny, along with numerous hermits, snails, and bunch of corals.

 

What have you added to the tank lately? How close are your corals to your powerheads? How long have they been in the tank, are they new additions?

 

they have been in for at least a month both and nothing is new

 

is hte coral beauty nipping at them, or the puffer? maybe the hermits are walking on them? just some ideas.

 

i have not noticed any of the above its very strange because my other corals are doing great.

 

seems like you may have some livestock that may not be reef friendly.

how long have you had hammer?

params? Last wc?

Sometimes my hammer wont fully open (tentacles half extended to potential) and i never know why. i assume its a water issue but my nitrates are below 10 and most of the time below 5. crab may have poked (facebook poke? ) it.
