Hi, Maybe I'm wrong, but tap water is'nt the best way to dip a coral.( temp and ph must be apropiate ) Is better if you use water from your tank and make a iodine solution(Lugol's from Kent). Good luck

I do not freshwater dip my corals. They are very sensitive. Fish are heartier. I would pull the coral out and put it in a qt tank. If it is dying from somesort of disease you do not want it spreading to the rest of your tank.

FW dips are common but not just tap, needs to be RO/DI water at the right PH and temp, for about 2-3 mins then straight into a drip acclimation for the tank to get it back up to the right salinity, hopefully it pulls through, good luck

I hope you succeed with what you've done! if you just used tap water w/o any dechlorination you might be in for a treat, like the reefer fellows said ro/di water or adjusting the ph and temp. is a must...give it some time it might just surprise you
