I'm interested in getting a green hammerhead coral, but I believe I read somewhere they are hard to ship and it is best to get them from your LFS. Any thoughts there and on maintaining one. Thanks.

It's not that they're hard to ship it's that they might get banged around during shipping which could damage the flesh of the coral. If the flesh becomes damaged, it may very well cause the coral to die either on the way to you or shortly after you receive it.

I have a green metallic hammer wall and it's very easy to maintain.

I have two pink hammer corals which I purchased from my lfs.. so if in doubt about damage during shipping, then order them or purchase them from your lfs. Mine are beautiful and I never had any problems with them whatsoever. Best of luck to you... please post some pics once you get them ...
