    Difference is the shape of the polyps for one, strength of the 'sting' maybe also?

    The lady at the LFS gave me this, it was in with what I believe were the hammerheads. Is this a frogspawn?

    They are in the same family. You can place these two (and a torch) all touching each other without problem.


    The difference is really in the tips of the tentacles. Care is basically same for all three.


    I have a purple tipped hammerhead that is really pretty and a torch. They don't touch now, but when they get big, they will.

    Both are good choices. I'm a beginner with T5 lights and I am finding good success with these.

    I have a purple tip frogspawn, awesome addition, but my fav is the anchor hammerhead.

    I have a hammer and torch. The difference is the tips of the hammer and the frogspawn. They are all neat corals.
