Just out of curiosity why the aversion to testing? Takes too much time?

The only test i have other than the ones that come in the kit is for cal and its a pain in the ass to use IMO. And like i said tank runs good and when something seems off i do a water change and it usually corrects it. Might not be the right way but its been working for me

don't worry man, i have a feeling you're not the only one out there like this... though it is kind of dangerous. Guilty as charged myself...

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Testing parameters is a major part of trouble shooting issues with tank inhabitants. If those values are not known every other theory is just speculation.

I am going to test the water as soon as i have time but like i said earlier everything else in the tank is doing well so i came here to see if there was any difference in the hammers and the frogspawn.

As i sit here typing this I am looking at the tank and see that i have to frag one of my frogspawn colonies. There are a few heads down low that arent getting light. After this I will have 2 big colonies and 8-10 single heads that I have fragged over the last few weeks. lol

Update... a few days after the last post one of the hammers made a monster comeback and has been getting bigger and bigger. The other hammer was getting worse so i started moving it around the tank with no luck. Finally yesterday I made one last move... high in the tank in a high flow area ( i know they dont like high flow but i took a shot). About an hour after the lights came on today it had doubled in size.
I guess from here i will have to play it by ear and see what happens.
