Hang on skimmers?

What do you guys think of this skimmer? Eshopps psk-100h I do not have a sump and this time around I am running a skimmer and using ro/di water.

I really like mine! I use it on a 46BF. It may be a tad undersized for a 125, but certainly better than nothing. As long as your DT water level remains constant, once it is broken and you get it set, you will likely not need to touch it again.

I would use the reef octopus bh-2000, that skimmer is a beast, the one you listed is good but under rated for your 125

I always loved my reef octo HOB skimmers

 

I have a reef octo bh1000 for sale now($100),they are very good hob skimmers but to be totally honest with you, if it were my tank I would not spend the money on a hob and instead would add a sump.
