    Believe it or not Coralifes Super skimmer is an affordable, easy to use skimmer that really pulls some gunk out, esp for its price...

    Do you have a price range you are looking at?

    I personally use a Tunze DOC 9010 Protein Skimmer on my 20 gallon Nano Reef. It's rated for up to 264 gallons and seems to do the trick just fine. It mounts inside the aquarium taking up approximately Length 4.9 Inches x Width 4.4 Inches x Height 16.8 Inches and uses only 21 watts of power. Mounting Kits are also include.

    +1 to the coralife super skimmers.... 1/3 the price of all the other ones, and still excellent performance.
