Finally purchased a pair of the boost led mu 100 series lights for my standard 75gal. Tank. Ill be making the switch from fowlr to coral with these lights (woot!). I do have a couple of questions about hanging the lights, if anyone would be willing to give me some input. First what is the standard for how high above the water column that these should hang? Second, is that I would like to hang them as simply as possible, probably just a hanging kit from the ceiling. Anyone have any advice on a specific kit to use with these lights? Also, I'm not sure that I have any additional support at the point that these will hang, will that be a problem?

I've been trying to look all this up on my own but my internet is acting up and it has been infuriating to search through much of the info. Any advice would be helpful, thanks in advance.

8-15"'s prob, you'll just have to play with it a bit till ya get good coverage. Check out exactlyob's led thread. Ya should be able to get some wire and ceiling mounts from Lowe's for about $10
