if you do a google search for "DIY Light Hanger" you will find several different options for you. Most of them involve metal conduit.

My thoughts are that the PVC might bend when you hang the lights on them.

I did see a good idea a while ago. You basically buy the metal that you need, then buy a metal bender (or whatever it's called) and return it when you're done.

Do a google image search for "wall lamp hook" some good stuff comes up that you could easily hang a light from.

Do a search along the lines for: L brackets for shelf

Just use two L brackets attached to the wall behind the tank.

My 2 LED's are hanging from the stand I made out of 2x4's that goes between my tank and back wall.

Lots of ways to hang an LED (kinda like the 'dozen ways to skin a cat' phrase!

I've seen some nice looking metal conduit hanging builds, people buy the conduit from the big box stores I think I remember reading that a guy spent like 10 bucks on the conduit (could be per side but I'm not sure) and then he bought the conduit bender and returned the same day after he used it lol

then it was spray painted black and attached to the side of his stand, it looked very sharp and you wouldn't even know it wasn't part of the stand. I plan on doing this once I get my lights in a couple of weeks, I'll try and post a build thread.

i would try the l backet thing but my tank will be in a corner so that makes it alittle hard but not impossible. i will see how much the conduit cost and i bet i know someone who has a bender lol or i can buy metal elbows for it im sure either way would be fine
