Thats what I plan on picking up with the exception of the screw eyes, just out of curiosity what are you going to use the screw eyes for?

for the hook that will be holding the led up.
i have the ceiling hanging kit and plan on just using the four wires that came with it, each end has a metal clasp.

    unless you have another idea

maybe I'm confused, the screw eyes would be used if you were going to hang the fixture from the ceiling.

This is a very crude sketch of what I am planning on doing

the two pieces of conduit would be attached to the sides of the stand using brackets and they would be about 6" apart and then I would use the wires and metal clasps that come with the light to hang it directly from the metal conduit, this way I don't have to hang anything from the ceiling.

And please excuse my artwork lol, I'm a reefer not an artist :p

I guess it would depend on the length of it. If its just coming from the wall where the tank is up against it you should be fine

Have you purchased lights like this yet? I sell ones which come with a bracket much like your talking about

the only issue I can see is that you won't be able to use a magfloat on the ends with that conduit in the way.
