    Nice! I went with anchoring the hooks, and a chain.. Easy and $8!

    I Sure do, and let me save anyone a few trips to the store. This is what you need.

    2 - Ceiling hooks with anchors(My pendant weighs 6 lbs so Buy your hooks Accordingly and hopefully you can find studs so you can nix the anchors).

    2 - 1/4" threaded eye bolts

    2 - 4' - 5' chains

    2 - ajustable links

    That looks like it will hold no problem.
    Did you think about taking that cord up the chain too? Might be hard to pull off and require an extension cord.. hmmm

    If you wanna go a little further with this you could wire an outlet into the ceiling.:) My Dad's an electrician. I think I might try to do this..

    Yeah buddy. One hook hit a stud.. the other didnt. I have plenty of chord.. not sure what to do yet or where to run it. Im just happy its finally set up

    Lol its a bit much.. but getting a 40 gallon cube soon so instead of buying 100$ in new bulbs for the old fixture, figure i put it towards a light for new tank. I have that dimmed to 150w too.
