I am in the works on a 29g Biocube with a 10g refuge. I found a used 29g Biocube at my LFS what really didn't look used at all. The only thing it did not have a hood, pump and any of the bio-balls. I don't need the hood because I won a JBJ Underbody Facebook Contest ( The winner of the... | Facebook ). I am thinking of getting Sicce Syncra Silent 2.0 for my pump and a Hydor Koralia Nano-Skim for my skimmer I don't know if I should get a different one to put in my refuge instead of the nano? I will be getting all the PVC to make the over flow. I am borrowing Biocube's overflow plans ( http://www.3reef.com/forums/show-off-your-fish-tanks/biocubes-build-thread-top-down-fun-133894.html ) I don't think will mind I hope lol. More to come soon. If there is anything I should do let me know I am open to just about anything.

    I don't mind at all! :)

Check out the Tunze 9002 Skimmer, I personally am using that at the moment and like it.

Happy to follow along and help.

lol, bro, I'd read all of biocubes thread and do ALOT of it. Obviously do what you like, but that thing has become a beast, hard to top it as far as I've seen on many forums. His right now has all the bells and whistles, but if ya follow the thread, ya see how spacing it out makes it doable, granted it may take more spacing between upgrades, but its a heck of a goal to try to get too! Enjoy your cube.;) I may be in the club soon;)

+1 I have that skimmer on mine as well. It was a PITA to get it set up, but once I did it works great. I would skip the bioballs all together. I put the skimmer and a three section mediabasket from InTank Media Baskets in the second chamber and couldn't be happier.

I run filter floss, purigen and chemipure elite in mine... I have the fuge light for it too but I haven't added it yet on account of I'm concerned with heat. But, you're right, you don't need it. What are you going to put in chamber 2?

Not a clue. I am thinking of talking out the wall from chamber 2 and 3. I could put some live rock rubble back there
