What pump did you order and what size check valve do you need? I got my 3/4 all plastic valve for 16.99 on Amazon, you can get the same one from MD for 23.99.

Does anyone know what I should use to clean the tank? After working in the tank there is a lot of shavings in the tank and i got the tank used and dont know that the other person did I just want to be safe. I am thinking of doing a tap water rinse real good and filling it up with tap water and running the system for a 2 or 3 days for leaks and overflows.

I would do rodi water and vinegar to clean off all the calcium deposits.
