    Thanks for the input guys I did not realize you pay 50 bucks for only 6 tests!!

    Are they fairly easy to use and clean??

    Easier to use than a salifert phosphate test. A pack of 25 reagents is only like $13

    The phosphorous ULR checker is more precise than the phosphate checker.

    The margin of error on the ULR is +/- 0.015 and on the phosphate checker it's +/- 0.04

    So, a reading of 0.03 on the phosphate checker could really be as high as 0.07, or as low as zero.

    On the phosphorus checker a 0.03 reading might really be as high as 0.0415 or as low as 0.015.

    So, it all depends how precise you want your measurements to be.

    Also, there's an eBay retailer that sells 2 packs of 25 reagents for about $20, with free shipping in the U.S. They even have affordable shipping to Canada. I don't mind paying a little more at my LFS, but they never have a reliable supply of any of the hanna reagents in stock.
