    I had a great weekend of German food, half-liters, redwood forests and family. I could not ask for more. I am a happy man. Love this site and everyone here. :thumbs_up

    FYI ABOUT THE SITE:

    I recently upgraded the server to the latest OS version. I have our new backup system running and we are now not 50GB over the threshold limit so I am not pouring cash out the window anymore.

    I am restoring the arcade in the chat bar for supporters soon as I just renewed the license. I have some decisions to make in this area but it is happening soon.

    I have two weeks off next month and plan on a long-overdue upgrade of the forum software to the latest, greatest. This will be a daunting task due to all the modifications here but I am committed to following through there.

    I plan on adding more content to the homepage and fixing many odds and ends that I have stared at for a year since the birth of my son. I look forward to this.

    My tank -

    Occasionally in my hectic life lately I get to clean the glass and look inside. :) Without hyperbole, the installation and calibration of my Bubble Magus doser saved my coral. Acropora that had partially bleached out like my staghorn and an aussie coral (which I really thought was dead) is actually growing and filling in the bleached areas. I am amazed. A digitata colony that was I thought was totally wiped out a year ago is coming back too. On the bad side, I have some red fuzzy algae taking hold in one corner. Considering my water change schedule these days and my depleted RO filters (that I just bought replacements for) I am not surprised. I actually have a new halide bulb that I haven't installed yet and a UV filter that I am itching to try. Once I carve out the time, all of the above should help there.

    Anyway, thank you all, life is a juggle and truly challenging but I am blessed. I appreciate the well wishes! k+

    It sounds like you have been very busy! I can't wait for the new upgrades and whatever else you have planned for the site - should be nice. That also means more money for the tank (and your son, of course) :) Will the forum be down during time of upgraded software installation (I don't know much about how that works. :p) ?

    Do you have any recent shots of the tank and coral growth? I'd love to see them.
