    does anyone know where to buy one of these? these are one of my favorite if not my favorite! i really wanna purchase one but i cant find anywhere to. does anyone know of some huge stomatopod seller besides stomatopod.com? im gonna ask them if they ever get one of these.

    as far as I know..stomatopod.com is the only actual mantis retailer. So I think your best bet would be giving them a call. You know they only get around 4 cm right?

    Edit: just watched a video on them..they do seem pretty cool..especially their mating ritual

    yes i am aware of that. i am gonna get a 70 or 75 gallon tank and put a black divider in it so i can keep two species in my 75.

    call or email stomatopod, they can special order different mantises for you

    and yeah ive very intriuging. i want to try and mate them! i am gonna try and go to one of the coasts to study marine biology. specificaly inverts.

    They are very rare. I have never seen one for sale anywhere.

    i know im trying to find one. i already have one sort of rare mantis. i want to do a 75 gallon tank divided with a sheet of some black acrylic or plastic so i can have 2 species in the tank and just run one sump on the system.

    either that or i will put the Haptosquilla banggai in my 15 gallon tank and put my other mantis in a 44 gallon tank im looking at.
