Hard white curly thingy

Any idea what this is? Been finding on my live rock but now they are everywhere. On glass. On pump. On intake tube. On rocks.
I'm sure most you will know what this is instantly.
So what is it? Is it bad? And what should be my next step if any?
Assuming it's harmless but want to verify.

Spirorbis spp also know as Spirorbid worms

they are filter feeder nothing to worry about

Thanks. Good link. I've had 5 things on that list so far.

 

They're basically a micro-featherduster. I bought a piece of LR once covered with them. They bore intense red feathers but were very small and only noticeable to the keen eye.

 

i have lots,tiny feather dusters,,no worries.
