I bought an IceCap 660 ballast and an Icecap Digital Timer.
It is all wired and build into a canopy.
But I don't have instructions for it.

Does anybody have any? Or know how to program the timer?

    No problem.
Don't be so hard on yourself. ;)

What lights are you going to run on this?

I just got some VHO bulbs. And I'm shocked.
the whole room is bright as daylight. I gotta work on the canopy a little ;)

    Cool! 8)
You gonna get the dimmer switch for the VHOs?
Apparently you can do gradual on/off with them.

not sure. I know I should. Would be better for the fish.
But I'm not even sure if the ballast can handle that.

Just good, that the lights will turn on when it's already daylight and so the fish won't be completely shocked

That's Funny Hoodoo, When I first turned my VHOs on (pre canopy) I almost lost my life. My wife was not impressed, But then I turned on the MH and ran for my Life. I was three blocks down the road before I looked back and Catherine wasn't chasing me. I built a canopy that evening and I'm almost forgiven for bringing a Aquarium into the house

well, I just talked to my neighbor an hour ago and the little daughter asked me what that blue light was that her brother told her he saw in my house yesterday ;)
And there are 2 rooms in front of the living room where the tank stands...
