Normally my Harlequin Shrimp goes through a star fish in a bit more then a week. On July 11th I put a sand sifting starfish (normal food) in the tank. It shed shortly after I put the starfish in, but it hasn't eaten it yet.

For a majority of the time it has been flip over near its normal hang out area. If I move/flip the starfish it will hunt it down, flip it over and drag it back to its "area" but as far as I can tell it hasn't eaten in over a month. Any advice?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Perhaps try a different star fish, maybe there is something about that particular one.

Just assuming you have considered parameters.

I would definitely throw in a chocolate chip and see if that is more appealing.

That mag level is pretty low, might want to bring that up slowly.
