    Hey all,

I have a beautiful semi-juvie Aussie Harlequin Tusk. They are my fav SW fish and I know they can decimate CUC and shrimps in tanks. Well, he did recently eat my large cleaner shrimp (poor Ronald), pretty sure he is starting work on my CUC. I have noticed my algae build-up a lot more with the dwindling snail population. Have also noticed a lack of hermits wandering around.

Are there any tips on making a CUC last longer with a Tusk in the tank? Are there any CUC inverts that a Tusk might not bother with? I completely understand it is their nature, & do my best to keep it well fed with NLS pellets, mysis/brine, raw shrimp, squid, & scallops. I think I was very busy when the shrimp was killed because I skipped a day of feeding.

    Any advice/pointers would be appreciated!

Hmmm. They will decimate just about any CUC member... I mean look at their teeth!?! Haha. I dont know too much about this fish's behavior, but my best guess would be to keep it well fed. Maybe the addition of an automatic feeder could take some of the burden off of your shoulders as far as feeding goes. Either way, here is a bump for you!
