    Made up my mind to find a scolymia that i like, now im also debating on a harlequin shrimp...any downsides to them?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    The downside is the feeding of starfish. No starfish the shrimp dies. And they can be a little messy when eating their starfish. I believe MoJoe just got a very nice pair. Maybe shot him a message.

    yea theyre gorgious, and i dont mind feeding a starfish every week or so, thats one reason im thinkin of adding a HOB fuge...and yea ill shoot him a message thnaks

    not saying it wouldn't just a general ? would a hob fuge be enough to keep your levels in check? that's going to be a lot of dead matter in your tank for things to grow off of. figured id ask because i love them myself just haven't gotten to that point yet.

    They actually keep the starfish alive but paralyzed. They even feed the starfish.

    I believe it's any starfish. I have one in my tank to help clean up a MAJOR asterina infestation. Mine started eating one within 5 minutes of being in the tank.
