    hey guys what kinda filtration do these guys need if they are in their own tank?

    they need starfish so make sure you have a lot of those. the filtration, isnt much needed. there inverts so they don poop too much.

    Not true, at all. Shrimp can put out up to 1/3rd of their body weight as waste per day. They just don't obviously poop because they excrete it in to the water instead of dropping a pellet.

    not alot maybe just biological, of course the element of having a dying starfish may make it a problem(but I don't know I don't feed starfish's to things).

    theyll eat the starfish's legs first. a big brittle star or a chocolate chip star will do teh trick, a sump would be help ful to nurse an eaten arm back, then stick it back in with the harlequins.

    yeah i know they eat starfish,only starfish. just wondering how much filtration they need because i may be getting one for free and putting it in an eclipse 6 tank by himself, and starfish ofcoarse. the guy who has it now says 1 med choc. star lasts about a month.
