    that's the kind of comment I was looking for!! Completely and entirely true!.
    And I got to say while I was reading this, I was smiling to the fact that I completely have the same ideas... Especially the dementors comment and the movies getting darker and darker. To almost black and white.

    harry potter for the win! love 'em. Jwin is absolutely correct.

    LotR gets my absolute pick though. Dumbledore is awesome. Very awesome wizard. Elite even. Gandalf could woop him, I am sure.

    Dumbledore doesn't even directly beat (he who can not be named)... but Gandalf beats a fricking Balrog of Melkor! WOW :eek:

    We're having a LotR movie escapade some time this December. I haven't seen the movies in ages. But I dunno...Gandalf verses Dumbledore would be an epic battle IMO.
