    Thanks for the input!

I was almost thinking about just getting the 24'', sure it would hang over the edges a little. But if I ever decided to bump up to a 20 gallon ::)

What do you think? Would that look goofy?

It might look weird but, hey, it's functional. Plus if you upgrade, it's economical & a practical buy. :)

Definitely go with the 24" model. The fixture hangs off the sides 2 inches or so on each side. But the bulbs are only 20" give or take so they fit perfectly over the tank. It is a very dependable unit, although current bulbs are pure junk IMHO. Good luck, it is more than enough light in a little nano to go with any softies/LPS's and a few odds and ends SPS's.

Go with the Nova, hands down much better.

I've not ever used either, to tell you the truth. But I am going to go with Nova for my next fixture. have heard a lot of good things about Nova. Though Coralife is a good company too. lol

I bought the 18inch from marineandreef.com,when it arrived it had one bad slot, bulbs were fine.I called them and they shipped out a replacement right away, along with a shipping label for return of the bad one.I'd say they're customer service is very good.I've had no problems with the light since.

Agree with vankirk. Good quick service with some of the best prices you'll find.
