    That stand will hold all weight. While it would be cheaper to build your own stand and it would be much stronger, many tank companies will not accept warranty claims if the tank was not sitting on a stand made for fish tanks. They will ask for photos of everything.

    Do what someone else suggested and just reinforce it if you are worried about it. Peace of mind is always worth the cost.

    WOW I would never leave it like that for that long,but it does kinda make me feel better..(in a strange way)

    very true.I may just do that ,but im going to fill it early next week with fresh water to check all the plubing(when I get it all done lol) and I`ll se how she holds..

    The reason I posted this was because 2 yrs ago I got the stand for my 55 from wal-mart and it seemed to be build a little more sturdy and was half the price..well we will see...::)
