Just curious. It was more of a thought that ran through my head.

If so, how would one go about building the set up of breeding jellies? I'm researching about it a little, but so far haven't found anything helpful, but also, I haven't looked for long. Really just thought about it like five minutes ago.

Anyways, just wanted to read your thoughts and facts :).

I did a lot of research on Jellies wanting to set up a species tank...it requires a special tank with very special flow...as for breeding, most Jellyfish only spend 1/3 or less of their lifestyle in the Medusa stage (aka the stage that looks like a Jellyfish), so I think breeding would be a difficult undertaking.

Breeding Jellies is a hard thing to do. Take a look at the mass numbers you find in the ocean all clumped together.

For the tank you would need a Kessiel (Spell check) its pretty much a cylinder tank on its side and circular flow to keep it suspended. There are a lot of DIY instructions for one.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If you live in Ca take a look into the Cabrillo Aquarium in San Pedro. They have a section devoted to raising jelly fish and jelly fish reproduction. You can go behind the scenes, it's a great tour.
