Has anyone used Hellolights.com?

I need some input on this supplier. Has anyone ever used them? Was the experience good or bad?

I have decided on this retro kit w/ bulbs. I'm leaning toward 2 x 14k Hamiltons for the halides and 2 x UV TruActinics for the T5's (plus these T5 bulbs are on sale for $10 ea. with this package).

I am super nervous about dropping this much cash on a single purchase so any input will be appreciated.

 

Only ordered from them once. Good product, packed well and good emails keeping track of my stuff.

 

if you dont mind my asking, what did you get from them? Did you make a phone call and speak to anyone in person?

 

Yes, I've ordered from them several times. Now they are my go to place for lighting .

 

I ordered a pair of their HQI Pendants. Online, no real person.

 

You will be getting what you pay for with the Tru bulbs. I would suggest buying top of the line bulbs when it comes time to replace them.

I have ordered from them online with no problems.

 

My coralife rep turned me onto hellolights. Nothing but good things to say, I needed two balast for my lunar aqualight salvage as well as some wires from inside the housing. They had the balast but no wires or 4 pin connectors, they ended up pulling a wire from a broken aqualight going back under warranty! Helped me out in a big way, great "human" service! Can't go wrong.

 

Well I did it... twice last night. The user registration and credit card for didn't like something I input and pre-approved my account twice but didn't actually place the order. I called them today and spoke with a very nice man named "Dan" who got my order shipped today. I should have my new lights on Tuesday!
