I don't think so........lol But, The wife and I have picked up 12 baby hens, 2 toulouse goslings, and a turkey poult. We are veeeeerrrry new to keeping these things so, to any experienced keepers, insight welcomed please. I have been doing a bunch of reading and even joined a chicken forum:hehe:. Here is the coop that I have spent the last three days building. Still need probably 2 days to side it and do the yard. The hens will need to be kept inside for another couple/few weeks anyways.

And my 2 goslings. These things are awesome. Very personable. Can't wait 'til they get big and pick on the kids that visit us :joker:.

This is what the geese will look like in a few weeks. Sooner than later from the current growth rate.

And the turkey when it gets big.

And I've got 9 different kinds of chickens(all cool ones though) so no pics. We are in this for the eggs only. Not going to eat the chickens or the turkey.

Isn't it amazing how soft they are right now?

There was a water retention pond close to the front entrance to my church.
A Canadian goose laid it's eggs in some brush right by the retention pond. I was directing traffic that day so I was there for all 3 services. Every time someone walked to close to that retention pond, the goose was in full attack mode. Now, the nice Christian thing for me to do would be to warn people not to walk to close to the pond. However, if I had done that I wouldn't be able to see full grown men run and scream like woman. ;D

 I've heard that geese are better than guard dogs and apparently, it's true.

Those goslings are so freakin cute. I WANT ONE! :D

Yea, too bad they don't stay like that. You can just feel the new feathers coming in.
lol!!! We've all seen the videos on tv also. The thought crossed my mind in the store as I was deciding to purchase them. :hehe:
I've been hearing this to. Same with the turkey.
Here are the goslings outside for some grass. Chatty little guys. They are also very clingy.

That was definitely brought up during construction. It can still be used. Those days are over for me though.
