    Absolutely not...... I think my saving grace from becoming 100% country. Even the turkey that is going to get 20-30 pounds is bought as a pet. We are only in it for the chicken eggs.

    Speaking of "rooster"::)..........
    So, all of the waterfowl are now living on a "waterfowl sanctuary/rescue". I lost 'ol Bonnie to a coyote. And others in the neighborhood had been having problems. Rather then keeping them caged up, I made a considerable donation to a local rescue along with giving them the ducks and geese. I'm not about to keep them caged up in a dog run cause I want to go camping. They were fun while they were around. Now the chickens, on the other hand, are doing well and giving me tons of organic/free range eggs. And then there is Richard:hehe: my nasty rooster. He's tough as nails and will never get the hint. I'll admit that I have been in some serious brawls with him. He's lucky to still be around. Where I live though, this will come in handy. I have already seen him chase off a dog and I'm waiting for him to attack the neighbors dog that always comes into my yard. It's a little dog that gets in my garbage, barks at me in my yard etc.............And the owners are irresponsible. Anyways, the timing will be just right one of these times and I can't wait to see Richard unleash the claws of death.
