Help, I think I have a small leak in my 125gal tank:mad:. My wife noticed a small amount of water on the lip of the stand Sat afternoon. The tank is a glass tank and has only been set up for 5 yrs. I thought it would last longer than that. It has not been moved or anything else. Is there any thing I can do short of draining the tank and resealing the suspected area:confused:. If I have to drain the tank I will just upgrade and buy the tank I should have bought in the first place, a 125 with built in overflows;D.

I would first determine exactly where the leak is coming from. you might be surprised to find it is at a bulkhead or just a spill not cleaned up

    Well we can hope anyway

Make sure nothing spilled out from someone reaching into the tank or splashing. I have a 24" gigas which will squirt a good half gallon of water out of the tank at a time when he gets pissed off and I used to have a cowfish that would squirt water out whenever he wanted to be bed (read all day long).

    Good luck.

There's pictures of it somewhere on this site. I am just about to move it out of the 180 in the next few months too because it's too big and I am afraid I won't be able to fit it through the top braces soon.

I'll definitely be documenting that move with pictures.
