    If your intent was to feed JUST the tank, and not fish, you would find it much easier to feed rotifers which multiply very rapidly and after the initial start up, you don't need to worry about the cysts because they reproduce so rapidly.
    You would need to grow phytoplankton to feed them, but nannochloropsis is quite easy to do.
    I continually feed rotifers to all my reef tanks for many corals to feast on. Also, much of the micro life in the tank like the mysids and copepods, worms, etc., feed on the rotifers. It's especially helpful if you have a mandarin.

    Remember I'm just starting with brine shrimp eggs, and by now I'm doing it to feed my fish, at soon as I get this running the way is supose I will start with other things. I will let you know for another tutorial. tanks
    note: I just start with my first group of brine shrimp.
