    Does anyone know if IO Reef crystals salt mix has been resolved of all its issues with low ca and mg yet--there are alot of posts on this issue but most are old--Its almost water change time and I want to switch from IO to RC but want to make sure all is ok--Thanks

    Well when I went to the LFS the other day I noticed that the bags have changed now they say reformulated with more mag and extra cal, but the smaller boxes still have the same as always.

    They have reformulated a WHILE ago, recently they just changed packaging and also introduced a 200 gal box a more economical version. According to my tests the salt is still somewhat inconsistent but reading better.... At least close to NSW levels!!
    Ca was around 400ppm Mg was close to 1300 but like I said that is an AVERAGE of the 3 tests I did!

    Are you using it still? Do the containers you have purchased have the batch number on them?
