I'm really starting to hate all the snails and crabs in my tank, if they are not knocking over my corals at night they are yanking polyps off of rocks or taking food from my corals :furious3: Is there a better or different option for a clean up crew other than hermit crabs and snails?

BTW I also have a blue spotted sea hare and he doesnt bother anyone or anything, just does his job and looks cool doing it.

Also should mention that any potential CUC candidate would be housed with a picasso trigger :)

Hermit crabs are notorious for their stealing-food-from-corals habit. I'm sending my hermits to sump on its first offense. What kinds of snails do you have? Try smaller snails like nassarius and cerith. You can also try lawnmower or starry blenny (I prefer starry because they are more acceptable to prepared food). Sand shifting star is also good to keep your sand clean. And if you still have room, you can also add tang or rabbitfish. They will graze on algae all day long.

I have a handful of turbo and tiger turbo snails and about 16 or so nassarius snails, I caught the nassarius snails stealing from the corals last night too. I have a small 10 gal tank where I have been tossing bad crabs lately. I'll look in to the blenny and sand star options.
