Have no idea what is growing on my Zoos. HELP!!!

    I have been watching this "thing" growing on my zoos for some time and i have no idea what it is. I originally pulled it out a few months ago and i have watched it grow back. I am not sure if it is affecting the zoos, but they are not growing as fast i would like ;D
    It looks like a feather growing out of the zoos. I cannot tell if it is attached to the zoos or the rocks. Any one seen this before? Sorry for the low quality pics, i took them with my phone. Should i be worried?
    Any help on this would be huge!!

    Is it really growing? Have you noticed growth? It looks like perhaps the original rock had a small SPS which bleached then the zoos took over. Another alternative would be frag glue that bubbled up when the peice was submerged.
