Have you painted your background glass anything other than black?

    I'm going to paint my 150 gallon, 72" x 29" background glass. I'm not too concerned about concealing the overflows and prefer the look of blue. Have you painted your aquarium any color other than black? If so, I'd be interested in seeing the results. Post or link an image. Thanks!

    i did mine in black recently and i like it; you can do it in blue if you like, just personal preference IMO

    Excellent! What paint did you use? Roll or spray? My guess is roll from the photos.

    On a side note: Do you have a closer shot of the bulkhead returning from the sump?

    I have, but don't have pics handy this minute. Also, sorry, off topic a bit, but I'd recommended not painting the back directly. My preference is to paint a thin piece of plastic or acrylic and adhere it to the back. That way it's easy to change if you don't like it. You can even try a number of colors and see what you like best. No monitor calibration needed!

    I did have the can but I think hubby threw it away. It was a spray paint though.
