Have you painted your background glass anything other than black?

    It was installed backwards. The previous owner cut off the pipe directly flush with the threads. I had no way to install it correctly without replacing it completely. It ended up not mattering. I put a plug in it and it has been holding for more than a year now. If it had any more pressure on it, I am not sure it would hold. Luckily, the sump is fairly shallow.

    This is off topic since it is not paint. BUT I will be setting up a 125 soon and I think I will be going with the BLACK tint. It will be easy to remove if I do not like or need to view something in the back of the tank or something. I buy things from this site all the time for things for my reef; I used their acrylic rods, disks, cuttings boards for my sumps. Check them out mb if you dont go blue you may try this.
