    These pictures were taken with an Olympus 560UZ, an 8 megapixel point and shoot camera from 2007/08. I used an Olympus housing. I can't say enough about Olympus housings, they are relatively inexpensive compared to other options for the same camera, like Ikelite, and are high quality. In comparison, if I had a Canon point and shoot, I wouldn't purchase the Canon housing because of quality problems I've had with them. Unfortunately the Olympus camera has such a long re-load time that I've decided to purchase a case for my Canon T2i. I'll probably go with an Aquatica housing.

    I found the best way to shoot fish with an Olympus point and shoot is to keep the camera in macro mode (this won't apply to every camera though :-/). Get your buoyancy perfect and just drift towards the fish. If there is no current, swim very slowly.

    Take a lot of pictures! I hope you have fun on your trip. I miss Hawaii like crazy.
