I will be needing a heater for my system and have been looking into getting a Titanium one.
Has anyone used the Finnex brand heaters and whats your opinion on them,

I was considering this one http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merch...ode=Finnexheat but I am not sure if it is too much or not enough for a 75 gallon. I will be using a 30 gallon long tank in my stand as my sump/fuge so I want to make sure it can handle the load.

Also can you recommend any other heaters that will be good. And what watt do you recommend for my system.

    Thanks Rich

I'm using a visi-therm 250 watt heater for my 75 gallon, I have 20 gallon tank and 20 gallon sump attached and it keeps it right at 78. I keep my room at 65.

I use the 300 watt Finnex for a 90 gallon with a sump and it works great, couldn't be happier with it

Thanks guys, now I just have to make up my mind.

I forgot to mention that my tank is acrylic if that matters or not but the 30 gallon sum/fuge will be glass.

I'm not sure of total size in watts I might suggest using 2 smaller heaters for some redundancy? If one gets stuck on it won't cook the tank as fast, or if one fails entirely the temp won't drop as fast.

I agree with screwtape. Take your total number of watts needed to heat the tank and then divide it by two. Get two smaller heaters instead of one big one, redundancy is good in this hobby.
