I really think I am starting to over think things. But I just am setting up my Nano Cube. I got a heater today and was not sure where I should put it. can I put it on the back of the unit? Or do I have to put it on the side of the glass? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

usually in the back so you don't block any viewable panels.

Brilliant thanks. Also about how long does it take for the water to get clearer. Going on about 2 days and its still a bit cloudy. I have nothing but live rock in there thus far and don't plan on putting anything in there for a few weeks.

I would hide the heater in the back somewhere where you can hide it behind the liverock and corals.
