    i HAVE A 40g DT & my sump is a 20G. Can I put my heater in the refugium? Also, Should I get a heater for a 40G or 60G?

    I put my heater in the skimmer section as there is more flow going there. I would get a heater rated for your total water volume, just to be on the safe side.
