    Hey Reefers,

Was just wondering which spot in a sump was the best place for a heater to be placed, is it the fug, the return or the skimmer bays.

look for a good constant flow over it without blocking a pump intake, that's about the best advice.

you want a very good flow across the heater. my heaters are in the baffles which is one of the highest flows in my sump.

thanks guys for the help, flow over the heater makes sence,
cant fit it in the baffles so ill place it just where water
    exits the baffle.

    cheers

Just make sure its in a place that has no chance of exposing it to air.
