Has anyone used azoo heaters? Also I was looking on ebay and noticed there are quite a few people selling an off brand of titanium heaters. Has anyone tried them?

Hi "Jack" ...everyone has free advice, but if I ever gave any advice I would "bet my life on" it would be buy a reliable heater because you literally are betting on your life with a cheap heater////
..and in my opinion anything made by Azoo or in China in general is borderline at best...

Get a Jaeger, and I've bought close to 100 heaters...you can be cheap elsewhere but not with heaters....just get a Jaeger

I agree, dont skimp on your heater. Its a super important part of your tank setup. Idk how many cheap heaters I went through before I finally realized I was stupid for buying them.

I've heard alot of good about the jager heaters too. I myself have a finnex titanium and it works flawless.

    Hi
I dont know about the Azoo heaters but I can recommend Schego Titanium Heaters Schego - Schemel & Goetz Elektrogerätebau
I have 2x300w Schegos on My tank & love them one thing I dont like is the controller but I prefer having My Heaters & Chiller controlled by the ATC800:)

+1000 don't skimp on a heater. I just got shocked by a cheap heater a month or so ago. I was using it to heat up some freshly made saltwater and when I touched the water, I got zapped (which by the way is why you never put two hands in the water at the same time. Also, wearing shoes etc... anything to keep you insulated is a good idea when working on an aquarium).

Anyways though, I've never seen any piece of equipment crash so many tanks as a heater. Even the "good" ones only tend to be just okay. You really are taking your life into your own hands with the cheap ones. You are putting a very high wattage device directly into saltwater. That is a recipe for disaster, don't take that lightly.
