Well me and my husband want to eliminate some of the equipment we have in our tank... We have a canister filter so it makes it harder to do this.. We were wondering if anyone out their has any experience with the inline heating systems..?? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!!!;D

The inline heater look pricy and I would think they would have a tough time heating the water with a high flow rate.

Not sure what tank you have, but if you get a fully submersible and lay it horizontally accross the top or bottom, depending on your aquascaping, they can usually be hidden fairly well. For example, stand at your tank looking in, can you see the top three inches of the back? not usually, thts what makes this a good area.

I believe the Visatherm stealth is submersible and all black so the coraline will show up nicley.

I only use inline heaters, they are a bit more money, but I am happy with them. It might be my computer background, but I went with 2 (redundant that way). Each heater is connected to a separate pump, but they are both connected to the same controller. they are each 300 watt hydor inline heaters, I have the heaters set to 85 degrees, and then I set the controller to 78 degrees. this way, the controller actually decided when it's time for heat. the heaters are "always on" when the controller powers them up. With my set up, they don't kick in that often. I love that you don't see them or the wires coming out of the tank.

To me, if you don't mind spending a bit more money, they are great.
