Hey everyone got another question...In my 55 long(no livestock yet) i am currently heating it with a viaAqua 300w titanium rod heater(one of the ones with the external dial) in my sump. I have it positioned in the wet/dry under the bioballs (Off topic: should i remove the bioballs once the LR is established? I hear it does the same job but better) and it seems to be doing a fair job, the water stays about 77-78F which is what i have it set to, just wondering if a single 300w heater is good enough for a 55 long or should i get a second heater and maybe put it in the tank itself? Also heater related; once the lights are up(TEK 4 bulb) my water temperature will probably rise a few degrees right? Should i simply turn the heater down a few notches or raise up the fixture or what? Thanks in advance!

i run my heater in the stand pipe area of my sump and i would leave the bio balls in they are for biological filtration
