    Hey there,

Well I got a 100 gallon tank now, and im not to sure how to heat it. I was woundering what the watts per gallon would be for that tank. I know I will need two heater, but will the wattage be a big deal. I was think two 200 watt heaters, but I wasnt sure. Any suggestions on what brand to get? I like one that I found on Dr foster and smith page, any reviews here? Ill post a link to it. Thanks,

    Michael

Lets see. I have had a lot of good experience with Jäger heaters. I have one in my tank at home, and all of the tanks in the lab have those. For a 100 gal tank I think maybe two 150w heaters would be ok. 200w would be fine too though.

Heating a tank? Sigh, what a nice and inexpensive thought. ;) Now cooling, that's tougher...;D
