    FYI,

Just got a sweet deal on a 5600 BTU (good for avg. to small rooms) digital air conditioner.

On sale at Sears for $150!

It's got a timer and you just punch in the temp you want. Even has a remote control. 8)

    I'm psyched!

    :)

Yah, but man those are some warm winters out in NY, huh :)

Good deal Matt. 5 amps, not bad. Install it yet?

Yeah. It wasn't hard. It's light.

    Here's my problem:

When not in use, room stays hotter now that I can't open the window. Fan only mode on A/C are not that great in general. This one is no exception.

Also, playing with the timer, I realized a dilemma.

When I leave for work, do I close the door for the A/C?
If I do, then the small room doesn't get any air and the halide heats it up faster.

Glad I have it, just have to figure this stuff out!
