Heck awesome school tank project!!!

I think that's a great idea! Make sure to press that the tank will be used for educational purposes, not just there to look pretty.

I like the idea of a penninsula. Or a complete view from all 4 sides. I'm not sure if there is enough space for a 6 long. But ill check everything on monday... I was thinking on taking a written proposal just to sound more serious of the educational part of it... What do you guys think?

 

I agree a library would be a good place to have it, it's not like many kids go in there.

good idea, probably want to get some backing from some teachers (maybe Bio, or better yet marine Bio if you have one) so admin will have some long term assurence the tank will be kept up with

 

yea we have a oceanography teacher. and an environmental teacher..
they might like the idea.

You should try talking to all your locale lfs to see if they would be willing to donate anything, old filters, skimmers, even tanks, in return for free addvertising on or around the tank at school
