Has anyone owned this species of Goby? Seems like a perfect third fish for my 29g nano as it appears to munch on GHA as well as sift sand. Not sure if it's considered a sand sifter which is what I'm looking for. I would probably have to have my LFS order this because for some reason they only carry fish that need minimum 90g or more to thrive in.

Don't know how much it helps, but I have a Rainfordi Goby. Supposed to be a close relative of Hector's. Same/similar body shape, stripes and spots. Different color.

I really like this little fish. Constantly sand sifting, though unfortunately likes to drop the sand on my sand bed corals. I've never seen it touch my problem GHA though.

If you are ordering on though I would pick the Rainfordi if for no other reason that it is more colorful.
