WHEW! dats a salty looking fish you got there!

what are your water params? salinity?

I would encourage you to read up on Marine Ich. the parasite C. Irritans or Crypt is very resistant to the "reef Safe" medications. the only true ways I have found to erradicate it is to treat the fish in a Hyposaline environment with the salinity at 1.009 SG, or to treat them with a copper based medicine. I would strongly consider going one of those routes (i prefer Hypo) in your QT tank as soon as you can. make sure you use a refractometer if you do Hypo.

as for the blothces, I could not really tell in the photo. I did see some darker patches on my Naso as I was threating him with Hypo and they went away on their own.

Looks like the sailfin has a fungus of some sort also. That would explain some of the fin rotting but thats only what i see from the pic. +1 on P's idea.

NO worries man.. best thing to do is not panic, get your ducks in a row and do it right. you are already on the right track with the QT and now is the best time to handle it properly. not when they "look" good and get in your DT.

you can drop the salinity over a few hours without the ill effects. keep it there for 4-6 weeks. then raise it up over a week's time span.

thanks this helps! i was going to ask if i should lower the salinity and then reaclamate the fish to it or slowly remove water and add freshwater but i think u already answered that.
BTW can or should i still add a copper treatment to the qt if im going to lower the salinity to 1.010

the pj's and blue damsel are pretty small lik 1- 2" each
the sail fin is the biggest at prob 3"
i wanted them all out of dt bc i thought the dt should be fishless for 8 - 10 weeks
all the fish are doing ok except the tang
he looks better today than yesterday ( did some waterchange last night )
    doing hypo now
